This parking structure provides 567 new parking spaces at Samaritan Hospital for St. Peter's Health Partners in Troy, NY. The design-build project involved the rapid design and erection of a precast concrete structure, affording convenient parking for Samaritan Hospital staff, patients and visitors. the design carefully considered the context, and in particular the aesthetics of the larger adjacent master facilities plan projects occurring on campus. The project site is extremely limited, posing a challenge for both design and the staging of construction. The foundation utilizes steel piles - and the driving of the piles was carefully coordinated with procedure schedules at the hospital.
