After we completed a $19.5 Million Master Plan for the Columbia-Greene Community College campus, the County Legislatures appropriated funds to support only $13 million in improvements. We were retained to design the project and provide construction management services. The final project was creatively scoped to provide the client with almost all of the master plan needs within the reduced budget. The project was completed in 15 phases, on budget and a semester ahead of schedule, despite year-round building utilization by the College
The first phase included the reconstructions of the Main Academic Building, including a comprehensive science laboratory renovation, nursing lab renovations and the development of a new computer enhanced Learning Resource Center.
The science laboratories were carefully designed to accommodate future changes in technology with durable and attractive finishes that would enhance the teaching environment.
