This parking structure provides 524 new parking spaces for the City of Glens Falls. The design-build project involved the rapid design and erection of a precast concrete structure, affording convenient parking for Glens Falls Hospital staff, downtown visitors, and residents and visitors to the new mixed-use development across Park Street. Vehicular traffic is a 2-way flow throughout the structure, allowing ease of maneuvering and quick circulation. Pedestrian circulation includes glass-enclosed stairwells, maximizing visibility and day-lighting to complement the LED lighting in the facility. Parking access controls were coordinated to provide monthly access via fob system, and daily use through a ticket-validating and credit card paystation system.
